Delete your Sporting Ledger account and data
You can delete your account yourself in the Sporting Ledger app. You do not need to email us first, but we can help if something goes wrong.
Steps to delete your account in the app
- Install or open Sporting Ledger on your phone and sign in.
- Open Account from the home screen.
- Scroll to Delete account.
- Read the warning, enter your password, and tick I understand this cannot be undone.
- Tap Delete account and wait until the app confirms completion.
You must be online (Wi‑Fi or mobile data) for deletion to finish. This removes your sign-in, your live online copy, and the Sporting Ledger data on that phone.
What is deleted
- Your Sporting Ledger sign-in (you will need to create a new account to use the app again)
- Your shooting log and photos stored in your online account
- Your shooting log, photos and settings stored on that phone
- Sign-in tokens stored on the device
“Remove all data from this phone” is different
If you only choose Remove all data from this phone, your account and online copy are not deleted. To remove your account completely, use Delete account as described above.
Information that may remain for a short time
After deletion, a small amount of technical information may remain for a limited period in system logs or backup systems (for example optional diagnostic reports you previously sent, or routine service logs). We do not use this to restore your account or your shooting log. Full details are in our Privacy policy.
If you cannot delete your account in the app
